Hello
I recently dusted off my old mp3 and tried installing using Rockbox using the instructions detailed in the following link:
https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ImxInstall#Rockbox_firmware
. Unfortunatly the device only boots into its stock firmware even after multiple atempts. If anyone could help me figure out what I am doing wrong please let me know.
Thanks in advance

In the "Prebuilt bootloaders" section on that page you linked, in the table i can read "CreativeZENXFiStyle TODO ".
In the next table, "CreativeZENXFiStyle no release, you need compile it ".
Have you already compiled your own bootloader, or..?

Hello everybody! I have compiled the bootloader but i don`t know how to upload it on ZEN X-Fi Style bootloader page. Also at the port status page (
https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/CreativeZENXFiStylePort
) Rockbox Utility line says that the installation method is same as the Fuze+. I am not shure about Automatic install but when performing the manual install i followed the ZEN X-Fi (not Style!) install method. (you need to poweroff player, connect it to the PC, put the official FW upgrade executable and our rockbox modded bootloader named firmware.sb in one folder and execute FW*.exe. All this need to be performed in Windows. I used Windows 7 X64 on Virtualbox in Ubuntu 18.04).
