xduoo x3 for Rockbox

I am looking to get the xduoo x3 player, but want one that I can use with Rockbox. From what I understand the xduoo x3 has a second version. Does this work as well with Rockbox?

I have been looking on the internet for this player. How does a person tell the difference between versions? I don't find it stated on the sites that I have visited.
