Problems with Sansa Clip (Rockbox not installed)

Heya guys,I was able to score a 7$ Sansa clip V1 on ebay,yaaay! I soldered in the new battery and turned it on buuut,it seems that it is stuck on that sansa logo(The flower).It mounts very little of the time and when I was able to access the menu,it does not seem that the flash chip is worn out in any way. When I was able to mount it on my computer,it seems that there is no signs of flash corruption as i can navigate freely. I already tried the force MSC combo on the clip and nothing happens. Is there any way i can fix this?
