>> RUIZU A50 <<

Hi all,

Sansa Fuze V1 with Fuze V2 parts, earphone socket horrific.
During a flustered encounter (not often that an attractive girl asks me for help to obtain an item from up high), hurriedly plucked Skullcandy from ear, Sansa Clip+ jumped out of pocket somehow, did an anomalous orbit via headphone lead around my arm and came to a sudden stop against a shopping trolley.
Now read only, will not boot, 30mb partition showing (tried all) in Windows/Linux.

So I bought this:  RUIZU A50.

The build quality far exceeds both Sansa's.
Using Senn' HD 437's. Sound quality is on a different level.
Amazing for the price.
Forget trawling through ebay hoping to find a new Fuze or Clip+ in some corner or stoop low enough to pick up a knackered, second hand unit with dubious history.

ROCKbox the RUIZU A50.

Check it out.

The way this post reads you act as if you have either been successful in putting rockbox on this player or have started a port is that true? Or is this a suggestion without any of the required info?

Have you read the posting guidelines for the new port section?

Firmware update looks like an ATJ213x.  Are you actually working on this target?

Saratoga, have you been able to download firmware update for A50? My Chinese skills are too low to download from official Ruizu site.

Er, no. Bilgus.

Firmware download page.

https://pan.baidu.com/s/1pLhvF3X

Agptek H50 appears similar.

Haven't torn it down, so chipset unknown for now. I guess access would be via the glass panel.

I never managed to get the firmware download link to work (it would just download random .EXE files to my computer), but I found this file on Google which I believe is the same firmware:

While the files look like ATJ firmware files our tools choke on those.
