iPod Classic Rockbox Failing To Connect via USB
« on: October 11, 2018, 05:27:40 AM »
When I plug in my ipod classic into Windows 10 I am not getting this error and the music drive failed to mount.

"The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it"

The error I get on the device manager is "Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

I have a similar problem - - did you try booting into apple's original firmware and the connecting?

I just tried that, and it seems to connect.  :)
