Invisible folder?

(1/1)

blahblahblah:
When i unzip the rockbox files for nano (i have installer 2) and i drag them to my root i dont see the rockbox folder i only see the rockbox.ipod thing. can some one help me?

Llorean:
What is installer 2? That's not any of our software...

As well, if you're on OSX, or some Linux systems, folders that start with a . are often hidden. It's best to copy the .zip to your iPod, and then extract it there, if you don't know of a way to see the folder.

blahblahblah:
installer 2 is an installer thats installs ipod linux on your ipod. it can give you a loader menu for ipod that lets you choose from apple linux or whatever you put on there. it can put rockbox on the menu too. i heard alot of people doing it and thats what im trying to do. look here www.ipodlinux.org/forums

blaxbb:

check the box that says "Show Hidden Files and Folders"

thats if your on win XP

blahblahblah:
