Iriver IHP 120 remote broken - help!

Hello there, I have destroyed my beloved iRiver IHP 120 which I have had for nearly 16 years or more. I accidentally pulled the remote and the remote is unresponsive, can't switch on/off, can't switch from radio to record playing etc.. the MP3 itself works but I can't walk with it anymore...
Any of you capable of repairing it? Or is there a place in the world that still sells these spare parts? Checked ebay already, no joy.
I wish iriver started to sell the IHP 100 again.
