PictureFlow stuck

Running rockbox on my iPod 7G. All seemed fine until just now when I have transferred a few hundred albums and pictureflow is stuck on "preparing album artwork". The bar has reached about 1/12th if the way, it got there in the first few seconds but has been stuck for the past few hours. Could someone please help?
