Is an 80g ipod worth 50$?

I've been using Rockbox on my SanDisk Clip Zip for several years and it's been great.

A guy I know wants to sell an Ipod 80g for $50. I would only be interested in it because I can port Rockbox to it.

Is it worth the $50?

There doesn't seem to be any alternatives that are still on the shelves.

Amazon has them for $100. Ebay has them for $60.

To me,That is a steal! It has a AWESOME screen for doom and rockboy plus you can put some nice themes on it too
go for it,as long as ya know how to do the bootloader unlock stuff and all of that.
