List of supported devices isn't accurate
« on: August 16, 2018, 06:48:16 PM »
Upon trying to install Rockbox on my sony walkman nwz-e364, which was said to be supported in the homepage, it wasnt availible to download rockbox for it. However i had already started the process before doing this, and put the firmware.sb file into the player, causing the device to be bricked.
Why would the official list of stable ports include ports that arent stable?
Also any way to revert back to default settings, ie remove the stuff i added on?
Thanks

Rockbox utility doesn't support the nwz-e364, so you have to follow that device's specific installation instructions on the wiki.  The nwz-e364 is listed as Stable on the main page, which is accurate.

I don't think copying a firmware file will brick that player, probably it will just update the OF.  What happened when you tried?
