32000 song limit

My clip zip with 256gb card has hit the 32000 song limit...

Is this just a matter of going into the source and increasing it to 48k-ish, or is there some 2^15th magic that makes this a lost cause?

I assume you mean a limit with the playlists there shouldn't be any limit on number of songs except in the terms of the FAT32 file system limits

• Maximum disk size: 2 terabytes
• Maximum file size: 4 gigabytes
• Maximum number of files on disk: 268,435,437
• Maximum number of files in a single folder: 65,534
