Custom Font?

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread, I'm not sure where to ask this but...

There are bands/songs/albums with custom symbols such as ☥, ◑෴◑ and ☮☮☮. Rockbox can't read them so it puts a box where the symbol should be.
My question is there any way to put a custom font into Rockbox that will read these symbols? If not, is there anything I can do for Rockbox to show the correct symbol?

Unifont covers most of the common Unicode symbols, but it is possible to use any other font if you like. The wiki has more information on fonts and theming.
