Existing iTunes library on Mac
« on: June 05, 2018, 09:47:55 PM »
Hi all
Apologies if this has been asked a million times - happy to be directed to existing post about this.

I’ve bought an ‘enhanced’ 800gig iPod, so I’m using Rockbox to get around the pesky max song limit in iTunes.  My existing iTunes library, including many playlists, is on a Mac.  So, I know that I have to ‘initialise’ the ipod on a PC first - no probs there.

So, how is the best way of getting an existing iTunes library - particularly with existing playlists - onto a Rockbox managed iPod?  I read in the manual that any music that has been placed on the iPod using ITunes will not show properly..

Cheers!
