Sandisk Sansa Clip+ Manual Firmware Upgrade Question...?

Hi guys - quick easy question! It's been about a year since I upgraded the firmware on my Sansa Clip+ (it currently has 3.13 on it).

I want to upgrade to 3.14 but was curious; with a manual installation, does the update overwrite all my settings on the player so that I will have to set it up again, or will my settings stay the same?
