Is there any way to stop podcasts from showing up in the database?
I've tried reading through this:
https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/DataBase#tagnavi.config_v2.0_Syntax
But I can't exactly see any relevant information. If someone knows how to and could tell me, that would be very much appreciated.

If you have the podcasts in a separate folder, you can unselect it from the "Select directories to scan" menu.

Or put a
database.ignore
file in the folders you don't want indexed.

Thanks dude. This is a big help. So I can just create a blank txt file and change the name to database.ignore?

Yes, exactly.
If you're using Windows, beware it hides the true file extension by default, take care not to create a database.ignore
.txt
by accident.
