Trouble installing Rockbox on Sansa Fuze+

I had a Sansa Fuze+  4 or 5 years ago that I had installed Rockbox on.  The device broke and I just got a new one.  I followed all the steps in the instruction manual but Rockbox won't boot - the device starts up again with the Sansa Fuze  program (which seems designed for a 6 year-old).   I used the automatic installation, and there were no error messages - everything seemed to go as it was supposed to.  I am not good at all with computers so I don't think I could do a manual installation.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

Try installing again, but this time after you're done, go to Help -> Troubleshoot ->  System Trace.  Copy that text to www.pastebin.com and then give a link here.  Someone can look at that link and tell you want went wrong.

Thanks for your reply. It turns out I didn't read the fine print and was using a computer with Windows 10.  I went to a computer with Vista and it is now installed.  I appreciate the work you all do - the Fuze+ is almost worthless out of the box and it does everything I want it to with Rockbox.  Jim

Edit:  Just tried and installing on a Fuze+ using Windows 10 works fine.

On the page Wiki>Main>Rockbox Utility, it says:

Rockbox Utility is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Please note the following:

    Older versions of Windows (e.g. 9X, ME) are not supported -- Rockbox Utility uses some windows functionality that has been added starting with 2000. Rockbox Utility runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7.

Anyway,  for some reason it didn't work on the computer with Windows 10, maybe for some other reason.
