Using %Sx translation function
« on: March 08, 2018, 10:14:34 AM »
Can anyone point me to the list of all the terms that the %Sx() function will recognise for a given target?

The trouble with this function is that if a word isn't recognised it will cause the entire theme to fall over.  Ideally it would fail more gracefully by just leaving the word untranslated.  It's more of a problem because the success or failure of an %Sx statement _seems_ to depend on the specific target, so even players of the same resolution (that share themes) can cause a theme to fail or not depending on their translation dictionary.

(I vaguely remember finding there are some terms that will translate on ipod Video but cause the theme to fail on the Classic, though I wouldn't swear to it, I think it was something like 'Playlist:' was recognised on one and 'Playlist' (without the colon) on the other).

(Alternatively, this might be due to a difference between different releases of rockbox or between the simulator and an actual player).
