Database uses filename for album artist even when there is a valid tag

Hello,

I am using Sansa Clip Zip with 3.14 Rockbox. I have properly tagged all of my music files. I used tag for "album artist" to group together songs on many compilations and soundtracks that I have in my collection. I did this so when browsing the database by album artist the list is not cluttered with artists on those compilations.

However when browsing the database under album artist, some artists (but not all, like when you browse by artist) from compilations still show up. I did some investigating and found out that all of the artists that show up are the ones from filenames that contain the artist name and track title (usually separated by a comma).

So clearly the database picks this up and lists these artist names under album artist even though there is a valid tag for "album artist".

How do I fix this BESIDES renaming all of these file names? How do I force database to only use the tag? I checked all tags and fixed them with MP3TAG on the PC.
