Playback issue with ipod4g grayscale
« on: February 28, 2018, 01:32:59 PM »
Hi,

I have just installed the development version of rockbox on this device (I was trying the stable version earlier with the same effect) on a 32Gb CF card.

When I play a track (tried mp3 and flac so far), I can hear a noise/distortion for a second or 2 a lot like when a cellphone is about to ring near to an audio amplifier. It seems to only happen for the first track that I select but does not happen with whichever one happens to be next. It does happen again though if I select a new track manually.

I am assuming this is some sort of buttering issue?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
