iRiver H120+Rockbox controlls not working, remote too

Good day,

i recently got an iRiver H120, with Rockbox allready installed.
The Player got Firmware 1.66EU
Bootloader 7pre4
Rockbox Version 180116

I upgraded the bootloader since im going for a CF upgrade, didnt write down which Version it came with.
Unfortunately, i didnt test the device completely when it arrived. But after i flashed the bootloader and updated rockbox to the latest Version (20180207) i found out that the remote buttons are only partially working, as well as the controls on the device itself. I wasnt able to skip forward or backward or turn volume up or down, i booted into iriver software and everything was working fine. The remote as well as the controls on the device itself. So i tried rockbox Version (20180206) and it was the same, now even worse i cant boot up the iriver software anymore, the problem arrived after i tried to flash the backup rom i did before changing anything on the player. Thats the stage im at now. As i searched the whole forum for any topic regarding the iriver h120 i couldnt find anybody facing similar problems as me, so im wondering if im missing anything quite profound? I read the whole pdf manual today but couldnt find anything that could help, so im hoping anyone on here could point something out to me.
