Anyone but me see this?: Recent dev build finds lots of errors.

I thought I had a few damaged files, until I played them on another player without incident. My Zip has never done this before the latest dev' build. Auto Database Update is off so it's not that old problem.

Anyone else see this?

Random songs stop playing at random points and skip to the next song. If repeated the player skips in the same songs at the same places over and over. My Shanling M1 and my Windows 10 machine using VLC do not see the same errors and do not skip. This started just after I updated to the latest dev' build  from an older build.

I didn't ask for help. I just want to know if others have seen this so I can wait for an updated build and not have to rebuild my Zip to fix the issue.

did you upgrade from 3.14 or some other build?

Are you playing the files that are on the player itself in another program or copies of them?

Also, providing a copy of a single file off the player that always exhibits these symptoms would go a long way.

Addendum 2: Either you have to track down the problem commit or I will if I have access to the data. I haven't tried every single target I own, but that shouldn't really be necessary because it's the same code for all. I checked a target with large memory (gigabeat-s) and one with tiny memory (clip-v1) and havne't had anything misbehave.

Hard to say without more information, but I would guess a flash memory problem if it is reproducible at the same spot in each song.

I did find a goof up in a spot but pushed a new commit to correct it. Also, I did give the whole track list on buffer commit another lookover. Can't yet say if it was responsible.

Within the last three daily builds the problem is solved. Thank you kind Sir.
