Yes you can just download and install that build.  You can also try this build which is midway between 3.13 and 3.14:

Looks like I should have taken out my Micro SD Card before updating, as the update seems to have done something to the card, I put another card of the same make and model from the same place in the player and all is working now

Updating won't do anything to the card.
