Sansa Clip+ skips songs and crash

Hey guys,

I've been using Rockbox on a Sansa Clip+ for over 3years now. In the last year though, it has started skipping songs and proceeds to freeze and crash.
This only happens when I play music that's stored on the internal memory. Songs plays off the external SD card works just fine.
I have already re-installed Rockbox and the bootloader.

Any ideas?

have you tried an older release 3.13 for instance?
