Hi, newbie question here.
« on: October 07, 2017, 11:42:28 AM »
I have just had Rockbox installed on my iPod classic 80gb, except it now has 256gb and Rockbox to get around the 128gb limit.

Apologies for this, but how do you get your music displayed by Album as well as Artist?  At the moment is is only showing by Artists, how do you get it to display your music by Album?

Many thanks and all the best.

Ignore me, it’s ok.  I did a Database update and it put my music in every order possible.

Maybe it's just me but i never use the database function as i just organize songs into folders on the storage space. but then again i largely have full albums on there and not too many single songs so i just do this when i transfer the files to the device... "Artist Name - Album Name (2017)" (like that's the folder name and then the music files go inside of it). then use the file manager to access the folder, that i have clearly named, and then play the music i want to listen to. that's one of the bigger reasons i like Rockbox over crap like Microsoft Zune 30GB which is nothing even close.

or on the occasion there are certain albums i listen to ill occasionally use the bookmark function.
