Sansa Clip+ Stuck At Bootloader USB Mode

<< < (2/4) > >>

Bilgus:
if you got the multiboot bootloader to install you'll need to put the conterpart multiboot firmware on the sd card and add a file rockbox_main.clip+ file to the root of the sd card

then see if it will boot...

You can always remove rockbox but that isn't the issue, the issue is that your internal flash is wearing out and if you remove the rockbox install there is a chance that you won't ever be able to get back into the device

BlackGuyRX:
I'm trying to install from the utility since the rockbox folder was empty and I keep getting this error-

BlackGuyRX:
Okay, I think i've narrowed down the issue

I get that error when I boot into stock firmware after disconnecting it, and that corrupted chiptune folder is probably the root of the issue...
so it looks like the best thing I can do is format the device via Windows.

BlackGuyRX:
Alright...New problem...
I'm trying to format the device as FAT32 but it doesn't give me the option, only showing FAT, NTFS, and another format I don't remember and it's showing up as 30 GB or something like that.

Update-
Plugged in, at Bootloader USB Mode and I can't access either drive right now

BlackGuyRX:
Also get this error after unplugging it-
*PANIC*
mount: 0

bt end
