Sansa Clip+ Stuck At Bootloader USB Mode

Got a Sansa Clip+ Roxkbox problem
Earlier while running Rockbox firmware, it froze and I tried to reboot it but I got a error saying it couldn't find the firmware. I booted back into stock Sansa firmware and it worked fine...Until I changed USB modes to I can backup my music in the internal memory...It froze after changing modes and now I can't boot into stock firmware nor will Rockbox still work...What should I do? When I plug it in my desktop, the only option it gives is asking me if I want to format the device in Windows...Is this my only option and just reinstall Rockbox via Rockbox Utility afterwards?

I don't know if I'd do that, I think you are probably on the verge of your flash memory going bad
Instead you might try putting on the multiboot bootloader to run rockbox from your sd card just in case
see here:
http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,51844.0.html
so basically what I'd recommend is to first boot into your OF (Original Firmware, the stock sansa one) do the MB-Bootloader
and then (and/or) boot back into the OF make sure the 'clppa.bin' file is now gone and/or use the multiboot firmware on a sd card and verify that the multiboot functionality is working finally from the OF format the device don't use windows to format it

Alright, i'm in and managed to back up my main music folder from the internal storage...However my main folder for chiptunes and all it's files are corrupted...and they look like this
I tried to delete them on Windows, but they didn't go away and when I went to properties and checked the info from there...It claims it's 41.5 GB in size...And this is an 8GB device...

It is pretty clearly corrupted, If you can get the multiboot bootloader on there you might have a chance and at least that would give you a working device if things went awry. If not you can try recovery mode but that requires taking the device apart and getting the recovery image of a good 8gb clip+ to put on there I have successfully pulled one off a 4g clip+ and put it back but I don't have one for an 8gb unit

I can't get the multiboot so start. Best I can do is boot into stock firmware after having the device plugged in my desktop and holding down left when I eventually get it to power on. I give up...Is there any way I can safely remove any trace of Rockbox and just start over with stock firmware without having to hold down left + power?

if you got the multiboot bootloader to install you'll need to put the conterpart multiboot firmware on the sd card and add a file rockbox_main.clip+ file to the root of the sd card
then see if it will boot...
You can always remove rockbox but that isn't the issue, the issue is that your internal flash is wearing out and if you remove the rockbox install there is a chance that you won't ever be able to get back into the device

Okay, I think i've narrowed down the issue
https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/848/kw/not%20enough%20space%20for%20music%20DB
I get that error when I boot into stock firmware after disconnecting it, and that corrupted chiptune folder is probably the root of the issue...
so it looks like the best thing I can do is format the device via Windows.

Alright...New problem...
I'm trying to format the device as FAT32 but it doesn't give me the option, only showing FAT, NTFS, and another format I don't remember and it's showing up as 30 GB or something like that.
Update-
Plugged in, at Bootloader USB Mode and I can't access either drive right now

ah 30 mb not 30gb the best I can tell you now is to follow this guide
https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaAMSUnbrick
Unfortunately I only have a recovery image for the clip+ 4gb model so you will probably have to find someone with an 8gb model to do a fw dump in recovery mode
I have successfully dumped and restored the 4gb image from one player to another but, I seriously doubt the 4gb recovery image will work properly on your 8gb device.
Maybe you can write the bootloader image directly but I don't have enough experience with it to tell you if that will work or not..
you might try asking on the RB IRC channel..
First step will be to get linux running..

I just took a peek at the guide and...Geez. No way I have the means (or skill) to solder or take the thing apart. I wonder if I can just send it to a trustworthy user and have them repair it instead.
