clip zip equalizer problem
johnstig542:
Hello guys
First of all I want to thank to all devellopers and the rockbox community for their work on this great software.
I'm not shure if thats the right topic but never found another user with the same problem.
I had a sansa clip plus with rockbox installed from the first day that died last week after severall years.
Yesterday I received a new clip zip which I rockboxed and everything works great but the equalizer settings:
I tweaked the equalizer to my like and would like to save a few different configurations jazz, rock, classic...
When I save the equalizer setting the screen shows the text "settings saved" but if I go to browse EQ presets there is no response from rockbox. It simply doesn't shows any rockbox or own saved preset.
I'm running rockbox 3.14
Can someone help please
Thanks in advance :)

When you click save it pops up the file save dialog are you changing the file name when you save it?
either way could you give us the full path listed (press down till it is highlighted then left/right key till you get to the beginning)
ex '/.rockbox/eqs/eq01.cfg'

Hy Bilgus
Thanks for your fast reply
First I'll show a kind of sollution that I've found and then the written path name:
Finally!!!!!!! after some research here and there I've found the saved presets in -settings/ manage settings/ browse .cfg files. All the presets are there and could finally load and test each one of them succesfully.
I went to
-settings/ sound settings/ equalizer/ save EQ presets, named the file as follows: /.rockbox/eqsFUNK.cfg
and it's succesfully saved but when I look for it in browse EQpresets nothing shows up, the screen doesn't moves to a submenu where i should be supossed to browse between the severall saved presets.
Resuming:
presets load is posible trough manage settings but not from equalizer/browse EQ
Bilgus:
I'd say that is the issue it should be saved in /.rockbox/eqs/
like /.rockbox/eqs/FUNK.cfg
johnstig542:
I tried as you said /.rockbox/eqs/FUNK,cfg but a "failed" dialog shows.
The only way that , at least in my clip zip under this version of rockbox, I can save a preset is like:
/.rockbox/eqs(style or number).cfg
