ClipZip - Error accessing playlist file - since 3.14 update.
« on: August 14, 2017, 01:33:31 PM »
Great work on the latest build! I find that the USB is more stable and I like the new games.

However, since the update to 3.14, I've been having some regular errors with the message "Error accessing playlist file." Sometimes this occurs when I try to open a playlist, but if I reboot and try the same playlist, it will work. Sometimes it happens in the middle of a song; the Sansa locks up with the error message, and I have to reboot. Sometimes it locks up without a message, but when I hold down power to reboot, it flashes the error message just before it reboots.

I've tried updating to the latest daily build and I get the same problem. I usually get about 0-10 songs played before the error hits and I have to reboot. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with a format or playlist file because the file/playlist it halts on will play just fine after a reboot.

Are any other ClipZip users seeing the same problem, or is it just me?

Thanks!

Try using the current build, it has a fix for a limited number of Sandisk devices that have disk problems with 3.14.
