128gb sd card, not showing in SanDisk Clip+

(1/1)

phil8715:
Hi,

Myself and my wife both own SanDisk Clip+ mp3 players.

Last night she tried to add an album to her sd card.

The music seemed to add ok and showed up on the card when the card was in her laptop, she took her sd card out her laptop and inserted it into her SanDisk Clip+.

When she switched it on it couldn't read her card, she was able to add music previously without any issues.

She can use the sd card in other devices and it shows up and plays.

She is running Rockbox v 3.14.

The SanDisk Clip+ has Rockbox installed and she is using a 128gb sd card.

I put my sd card into her player and it read fine. I then put her sd card into my player and it didnt show up.

We also made sure that the sd was formatted in exFAT.

Any Ideas?

username_already_taken:
The card must be formatted as FAT32, not exFAT.

phil8715:
Mines formatted on EXfat without any problems.

phil8715:
She formatted in fat32 and everything now works.

I've just reformatted mine from exfat to fat32 and putting my music on as we speak.

Thanks for your help!
