Question about exporting iTunes Playlists using Playlist Export for Mac
« on: July 22, 2017, 10:36:59 AM »
Hello there!

just converted my 7G iPod 160GB iPod to a 512 GB SD and am trying to convert my iTunes Playlists to M3U that Rockbox uses.

I followed the useful tools link and saw where iTunes Export had a mac port called Playlist Export. My questions are, does the Playlist Format need to be M3U or M3u Extended? also Because all my iTunes Playlist files are scattered across 4 External hard drives should "Copy Music to Playlist Folders" or "Copy Music" with the m3u or m3u extended file in each one? or just make an m3u file from the playlists? i'm thinking one of those is right, but i'd figure i'd better ask considering how big my playlists are.
