Clip +: Install without USB

Hello!

I have a Sansa Clip + with a faulty USB, so I can't run the Rockbox Utility to install Rockbox on it. I've tried the manual install method putting the files on the SDCard instead of the internal storage, but when I turn the player on, nothing happens.  :-\

So, it's possible to install Rockbox via SDCard?

Thanks!

You'll need to copy the file from the sd card to the correct location on the internal memory using the rockbox file browser.

But I haven't Rockbox installed on the player  :'(
It's running Sansa's firmware V01.02.16A

Ah then that would be a problem. I think you have to fix the USB well enough to get the firmware update in place.

Try a different PC?

Well, that's what I was fearing, by the research I did, the problem is updating the bootloader, the patched *.bin file *must* be on the internal storage, which I cannot access. There isn't another way to update it?

And I think trying a different PC will not work, I had a problem with a drop of superglue on the connector e.e
