SanDisk Sansa c240 MicroSD inquiry
(1/1)
swinginman:
I apologize if this question has been asked before, I just couldn't find a thread talking about exactly what I'm looking for. I'm trying to buy a portable media player off Amazon, that is (a) compatible with RockBox, and (b) has a reasonably expandable memory via MicroSD. I was looking at the SanDisk Sansa c240, and saw that it's expandable memory is capped. I wanted to know if this is true when using RockBox, as having it's memory capped at 4GB is not anywhere close to what I'm looking for. Or can I use a 128GB MicroSD card with this device using RockBox? If not, what would some recommendations for a very simple, RockBox compatible media player that has a decently expandable memory be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
saratoga:
The limit for all devices running rockbox is 2 TB or so for SD.
The original firmware is limited to 2GB (v1 hardware) or 2TB (v2) if I remember correctly.
