are bookmarks on RB 3.14 limited??

hi.

having a sansa clip+ +RB 3.14

sometimes i cant make a bookmarks of a track

is it because i can only make a limited number of bookmarks ?
is it because i need the database as source insted of the orders?

i dont get it..


also, where to find ALL my bookmarks, not only the recently added???

if i hold the enter button during playback it asks me show bookmarks or add bookmark, but when i choose show BM it doesnt show all of them. also the recently addded BMs dont show all of them..


need help please.

wouldnt be such a problem if i only could figure out how to launch all files from my sd card filesystem into a playlist insted of only one single order without suborders.

you know how to do that??

Create a folder called "Playlists" on your player (if it doesn't already exist). Set it as the folder for the Playlist Catalog using the context menu (long press on select). Navigate to the folder where your Music is (maybe a folder called "music"?) Long press on select and choose Playlist Catalog -> Add to new playlist. Save the playlist and you should find it in the Playlist Catalog then. Start playing a file from there and you can create bookmarks using the context menu.

I hope that I explained everything right and this helps you.

somehow it didnt create a playlist.  i can name a playlist, but it just wont save by clicking enter.. dont get it yet.

anyway, i just tried to long-push on the directory in the filesystem - then go to "actuall playlist" - insert, and have the whole files in a playlist. still i cant make bookmarks in there.


can we talk about this please

. why not make bookmarkfeature what i has to be the most: simple! a way to bookmark outstanding tracks, anywhere, anytime, without compliktions or limitations !!just simple!! - you like a trak, you make a bookmark- thats it - just like rating it 5stars . all the featues rb bookmarks present now are very fancy and not worth if it doesnt allways work.



most of all it should be a way to mark outstanding tracks on the road, speed , time, playlistconnection - fancy, but not essential

Try this: navigate to the file browser and select a track. When it starts playing you can save a bookmark using the context menu, can't you? Adding a directory is a dynamic playlist and you can't save bookmarks with this unless you save the playlist.
