New iPod classic bootloader wiping partition in OF boot

I'm running an 80GB 6.5th Gen with the new bootloader (doesn't support higher than 128GB partition in original firmware) with a 160GB HDD from another iPod inside. If I plug the iPod in to charge while locked it trips the shortcut to boot into apple firmware, which wipes my partition (results in http://i.imgur.com/4oNr1Br.png) and I have to repartition and put music back on.

Is there a way to disable the shortcuts to access the original firmware? I have no interest in dual booting. Or is it not a big difference to go back to using EMCore?

mks5lboot  with the --single option installs the bootloader without dual boot.  Check out the readme:
