Rockbox 3.14 released!

i was hunting on secondhand Marketplaces in the Netherlands for months for the holy-grail-Ipod 5.5 enhanced with Wolfson dac, Pirates of the Caribbean edition from 2006. I was not pleased with the low output on my Sennheiser headphones. Then i quickly remembered why i hunted for this Ipod in the first place. I read about Rockbox, before i even bought this ipod and i wanted to Rockbox it! Now its uncapped, the volume can go higher than my ears can handle, and the sound is so smooth with the Rockbox ideal sound settings, when you set Low Shelf Filter to cut off frequency 40, and Q 0.7. activate crossfeed with YES. Volume -17 (Rockbox with volume uncapped is way too powerful, this is for ears-
protection) Activate equalizer with YES. Leave everything else untouched. Terminal-theme, font 21 Adobe-Helvetica. Throw away this i-tunes-shit, and yust place songs by copy-paste folders directly to the ipod drive, i love it.

Just wanted to add my thanks.  I still use my Iriver H320 (with a CF card) all the time.  I have a few more that I picked up cheap at Goodwill waiting for new batteries, CF cards and RockBox.  I appreciate your hard work.

It's quite a time since last stable release, can you tell how can we encourage you to release 3.15 already? :-) I assume end-users like me can't treat dev builds as something stable for everyday use.

The stable releases are just older dev builds with release notes. If you want to run a newer build, you don't need to wait.

To be honest, I always thought stable releases mean a development freeze and quite serious testing + fixing met issues, then a release to deliver stable product. I guess if I will just use a dev build it will most probably have some issues. It's not the case for rockbox project?
