Installing Rockbox on Sansa Clip+

Hello, looking to install Rockbox for the first time, I've downloaded and installed the Rockbox Utility on Windows 10, although my PC recognises my device it is not assigning a drive name (screenshot attached), therefore the utility will not proceed, when I select "autodetect" a pop up says "Rockbox Utility has stopped working" and shuts down the program. Is this a common problem or an issue with the device, any help welcomed

You need to put the device into Msc mode. If it doesn't have a drive letter you are in MTP mode.
