Check out the "dev guide" link on the left side of your screen.  It explains how to setup the development tools, compile code, etc.

Well sadly i own a chromebook that does not allow me to do the compiling.I also cannot download linux on here so any alternate ways to do it?

saratoga:
You can install gcc development on a chromebook and then most likely follow the normal linux installation tools.  I don't know the details, but there are various guides online.
