Sansa CLIP + install of Rockbox and drive not recognised but unable switch back
(1/1)
smithie:
Hi All,
Made a bit of a pig after install of Rockbox, I realised I didn't switch the clip+ from USB to MSC.
Rockbox works fine but is not recognised on my pc when I plug it in via USB to add more music. I can't go back to the Sandisk software as I get the dreaded "NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR MUSIC DB, PLEASE FREE 90MB"
SO... I've got a working clip+ but unable to move music on or off!?
Can anyone suggest a reset or way around this...?
Thanks Smithie

Turn it off, hold the center button and plug it into USB.

THANKS JOHNB!
All up and running now.
If anyone is stuck, it found the drive after pressing the middle button, I removed rockbox off the sansa clip, updated the firmware - bin file and then changed USB setting to MSC.
Installed Rockbox via the installer and all good now..

FWIW, this does nothing at all since the MSC setting will be reset back to MTP when you install rockbox.
