Ipod 1g/2g rockbox help

Hey so one of my teachers said that they have a 1st or 2nd gen iPod. I realize that there is a build of rockbox for the 1st/2nd gen so just wondering, is there anything I need to know in order to install it on the 1st gen? regards!
