News:

UI freezes and sound dropouts should be complete eliminated.
Slightly lower power consumption.
New debug feature: you can check system > debug > sd retry stats. It show numbers of retry on data (read and write) and on reinit for internal flash and sd card.
If all ok, you should see all zeros except "SD card reinit" - it will be 1.

Loading IT modules with var. 5 takes much longer compared to both var. 4 and regular rockbox.
2 seconds with regular version, 5 seconds with var. 4 and over 15 seconds with var. 5

Got "125" SD Card reinits, all other values are 0

My mistake - I build v5 with values strongly optimized for my player. Upload v6 with more general/safe values.

It's not a problem. I can always use 2nd Clip+ for modules. As long as the tradeoff is better battery life, it's perfectly manageable.  8)
Did you manage to test the consumption at +6dB?
