How often should I "update"?
« on: November 18, 2016, 09:32:34 AM »
Hi everybody,
And thanks for all the work!..
As the title of my post says: I was wondering today if it's worth updating my ipod 5.5gen rockbox.
Any advice?
I only use it to listen to music and store and check photos.
Are there any new "usages" that justify updating (I last did it 2 years ago....)?

Thanks again!!
H.

I am old school and only consider updating something if it starts having problems that affect my usage or there are new features that I would like to use.

Change log on the front page is a good place to look.

Thanks saratoga!
..well as gomezz says it looks like ..there are no new features for the ipod 5gen.
I guess it's by now a "vintage" player?
 :)
But a great one.

Thanks again for the work,
H.
