Sansa Clip / identifying burnt components
« on: November 02, 2016, 02:44:41 AM »
Hello,

I have Sansa Clip (M300 v1.5) with some burnt components:

(this photo is from internet..)

Maybe someone could help identifying them?

I believe they could be the same on other versions:

I have tried to take some macro photos of my board.. Looks like it's written 236 on number 1.:

DC-DC step down?

Number 2-3? Diode and capacitor? Any more details?

Thank you in advance.. :)

1. on my M300 V1.5 it marked as .23N, it can be LDO regulator or voltage detector, but I'm not sure. If you find more info about it - post links here.
2. diode sd106ws (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,51243.msg236679.html#msg236679).
3. capacitor - 100p, but I measure it without desoldering, so probably I wrong.

I received a larger image from Jim:

It's 239 there..

So we got 236, 23N, 239.. 23 - sot23?

No, it smaller than sot23. I think it can be NUF2230XV6 - SOT−563, 6 lead and marked as 23x, where 'x' is month code.

Mihail, thank you for your thoughts! Unfortunately, it looks like it's not NUF2230XV6. Multimeter shows that 2-3 pins are connected to GND..

What could this symbol mean?
