« on: October 20, 2016, 01:01:51 PM »
I need a new player

what is best to get to put RockBox on?

OR an alternative - the thing that I love the most

* microSD is a must for me

* is the file system ... folder browse/play ...

* no DB refresh on microSD files addition ...

* small

there are so many players out there

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=mp3+player+microsd&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Amp3+player+microsd

any recommendations?

thank you

I've been enjoying the Xduoo X3. It's an unsupported Rockbox build that actually works very well. My only gripe with Vortex's build is lack of Ogg Vorbis support, but I like it so much anyway that I'm slowly re-ripping my Ogg files to FLAC.

Did I mention it has TWO MicroSD slots?  :D
