Max MicroSD card with Sansa Fuze V2
« on: August 06, 2016, 09:46:00 PM »
I'm sure it's somewhere obvious, but I can't find the max size microSD card I can use in the Sand Fuze V2.  I think I remember seeing that it is 16gb, but that was a while ago.  What is the largest capacity it will accommodate?

Thanks

Steve

2TB?!?!!!!!   Seriously?  That's amazing!

Is there any practical reason to get a class 10 card over a class 4?

Thanks

no, not when using it in the Fuze.
When copying a whole lot of music in a card reader, a different speed can be helpfull.

Good point

Does anyone know if the 2TB limit also applies to the Sansa e200 series (v1)?

Just ordered some 64gb microsd cards. Will I have to format them for fat32 once they arrive to use them?  And, are there any settings I should use in its formatting? I understand that I'll need a special utility to do this as I am using Windows 10

But will be in future:
"The Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (SDXC) format, announced in January 2009 and defined in version 3.01 of the SD specification, supports cards up to 2 TB (2048 GB), compared to a limit of 32 GB for SDHC cards in the SD 2.0 specification."
