Ipod Firmware Partitions

Hello! I am new here, also long time rockbox user. Sorry if my english is bad, I do my best.  :)

I have a question, do not know if this question goes here.
I have an iPod Classic 6th gen with 80gb Hard Driver, it have 25 gb of bad block. I used it with a partition just fine with the classic 6th. Now I want to use an Ipod 5.5th With the same Hard driver, but I cannot use like that in this ipod (5.5). The question is ... Is there anyway to use the ipod 5.5 with a partition? and how to do the process With the firmware backup. I have read some forum too, I try to do something in Linux, but just no luck.
