Help with playlists on my sansa+. Getting super frustrated

(1/2) > >>

Chaosduck7:
So, I exported my itunes playlist as an .m3u. I put all my music on my sansa + SDcard in the "Music" folder (The only folder in the SD card). I CANNOT fit my music on the main sansa file because its only 4 gigs. My SD card however is 32 gigs , so i would like to have all my music on there. Anyways....

I then put the playlist file outside the folder in the SD card. It didnt work. Great. So i did some digging and apparently the playlist that itunes exported points to the music files ON MY COMPUTER. So i had to make a new playlist that points to the files on my player. So i spent like an hour doing that by dragging and dropping the music files from the sansa into foobar2000  and making a playlist from there, and finally saving it.

I put it in my Music folder on the sd card drive and i can play it but

A. It doesnt show up on the database, I have to use the file view. I placed it outside the Music folder by creating a new folder named "Playlist". The file browser detects it and can play it but...
B.  It lists them with file names, not title tags.

If i go to database, I get a neat organization of all my songs. I can browse by title, album etc. But why on earth can i not see playlists from here? Im assuming its not really meant to play your music from the file browser but it can be done. What i really want it it to be neatly organized and able to access my playlists, with track names, from the database.

PLEASE tell me this is possible? It seems like such a simple thing I would be shocked if i couldnt do it.

Ive tried reading the manual over and over and I cant wrap my head around it.

Thats very dissapointing. So how are playlists supposed to be used?

They are supposed to only be accessed from the file browser? And its by design you can only see their file names and not Title tags?
