Computer won't read my SD card.
« on: May 21, 2016, 12:48:07 PM »
I have a Sandisk Sansa Clip+ 4GB with a 32GB SD card which is where I have stored all my music so far.

I use the database feature in Rockbox to organise my music folders. Recently I noticed I was unable to locate the music folders under the FILES submenu on the player itself.

I connected the player to my PC, transferred two new folders to it. Now I can see those folders and the files inside them, but not the others. Please note that I CAN HEAR ALL THE SONGS by opening the Database submenu on Rockbox. My PC cannot read any folders except for the two new ones, even with the original firmware.

Please help!

I believe you can long select tracks in the database to see the file properties, including the full path to the file.

Problem solved. There was a MUSIC folder that contained the newer folders and a Music folder I could find only on running a search in SD card which all my other songs. I cut paste the folder to the same area as the MUSIC folder, and they automatically overlapped, now there is a MUSIC folder which has all my files.
