Can't install rockbox on my ipod video

I read the manuals and tried the automatic and manual way with no avail. The iPod still work and I am able to listen to music and use the regular interface.

For the manual instal I get: No iPods found, aborting

I copied the files to the iPod and the iPod is in disc mode. I exited and uninstalled all apple related software

For the automated method I cannot use auto detect iPod because the program crashes. When I manually select the ipod and try to install it has three lines of error all saying "error reading partition table: possibly not an ipod"

I cannot save a log file because the program again crashes.

I tried doing it on windows 10 and 7 just incase, but the same problem occur.

Are you sure you have an iPod video?

It plays videos and the menu looks like the following. Unless the ipod prior to the video can also play videos

There should be a model number on the iPod. Google that to find out what you have.

Start Rockbox Utility, go to Help / System Information and post the USB ID it shows for the Ipod. Then it's simple to tell which one you have.
