Volume speed increase

is there a way to increase the speed to the volume increase/decrease? not sure if its a theme thing or a rockbox setting cause it takes like 100 times to lower the volume. running lastest dev on ipod video 5.5 gen

If you mean the volume change amount, its locked at 1 or 1.5 dB (depending on hardware) in rockbox.

It takes way less than 100 steps to lower the volume though, the iPod Video can't even support 100 dB of volume adjustment.

It could be theme wise rockbox play them was slow but ipod one works okay was seeing if it was changeable to like what the original ipod software is

Not sure I follow you there, but I don't think there is an easy way to change it, and the theme shouldn't make any difference.

just saying on turning up or down the volume is a bit slow

reset ipod to rockbox defaults - throw the hold switch as rb is booting as soon as the apple logo =backlight= comes on. font will be small do not load any themes, test the volume. if it works fine now then your theme or eq setting was using to much of the ipods cpu
