Shutdown hangs/freezes on iriver H10 (5GB)

Hi,

i recently bought an H10 (5GB version) on Ebay (Germany). The unit itself is okay and runs flawlessly on the stock firmware. Rockbox is working too up until the point where I want it to shutdown. After pressing the power button, the display indicates "shutting down"... Unfortunately it keeps shutting down forever (with LED backlight on), or better said: it keeps indicating the message until I remove the battery.

What I've done:

- tried different rockbox versions (stable and daily)
- tried different original firmwares (UMS and MTP, both v2.51). problem is that i don't know where the unit originally was bought, only that it is an H10 :)
- tried to re-format the hard drive, reinitialize the firmware(s)
- tried various settings in rockbox (e.g. for database handling). everything works as expected, except for the shutdown.
- and of course I've mostly waited for several minutes for an actual shutdown

Can anyone confirm this issue? Is there a firmware (stock and rockbox) which is known to work? Does anyone have an updated or modified version of the original firmware (>v2.51)?

Any help is greatly welcome!
